The viewers will explore an interactive virtual exhibit curated specifically to tell the Greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus. Navigating among artifacts, projections, and animated installations, the viewers will see the story develop with an unconventional ending. By exploring the ramifications of four different hypothetical scenarios we hope that the viewer can see that decisions and actions can have drastic consequences and they can decide for themselves how the story ends.

The Beginning
This project was an iteration of our storytelling project where we came up with an alternative ending to the well-know Daedalus and Icarus myth. Below you can see our initial story.
Pushing Forward
We wanted to push our storytelling project by creating more alternative endings and making it into an immersive virtual experience. We decided on a museum exhibit that would help us tell our story through artifacts and then split into separate paths depending on the choices our characters make. Designing this experience required mapping the layout and curating the artifacts as well as creating the copy for each that added to the story’s plot. Additionally, creating animations and selecting fitting videos and music to add detail and atmosphere to our experience.
