PROJECT
Re-imagine Accenture’s 1 Manhattan West HQ to showcase their expertise across different industries.
I coordinated and designed distinct, interactive hives that blended innovative technology, art, lighting, and interactive storytelling to experience Accenture’s vision of the future in the present.
Accenture wanted this space to show visitors how their expertise could take them from the ‘now’ to the ‘future’ of finance and educate them on their offerings and what they can do.
This immersive space represents the financial industry's shift from traditional NYSE LED tickers to futuristic state-of-the-art screens. The layout of these in the space is a visual representation of this transition.
FUTURE OF FINANCE
The idle state shows real-time financial data from NYSE. (updated with up-to-the-millisecond information). This represents the present, which dissolves into the future during active state.
Choosing a topic initiates an active state where tickers and screens come to life as a single coordinated screen with animations reflecting brand content.
The alternation between fragmented traditional visuals and immersive full-space videos of the future defines the space's uniqueness.
Designed to showcase Accenture's sustainable practices which they achieve by harnessing data.
This hive features an interactive, touch-enabled, 360 world display influencing a steel and LED map of NYC in the back.
The interactive globe shows all the locations on earth where Accenture has had an impact with their sustainability efforts and where their office hubs are.
Visitors explore Accenture’s sustainability efforts through the globe, selecting global hot spots to trigger brand content on two 65" screens, and LED backlights.
Dynamic LED lighting creates heat maps and data visualizations on Manhattan based on real data.
HEALTHY PLANET
5G AUGMENTED REALITY NYC
Centered on 5G, we crafted an Augmented Reality "window" turning Accenture's static Manhattan view into an interactive display, demonstrating the impacts of 5G on daily life in NYC.
This self-standing, scalable AR window lets users manipulate interactive maps, viewing animations showcasing 5G's effects on the locations.
Using a high-def hidden camera, the touch-screen display offers real-time data on NYC's transportation system, emergency response system, and other technologies enabled by 5G.
My favorite part about this installation was the fun juxtaposition of seeing trains, shoes and interactive maps overlaid on the otherwise regular NYC skyline.
The interactive hive showcases retail trends and displays content, offering insights into the future of stores and retail spaces that engage their customers with advanced technology.
A museum-like shelf space features 16 custom 3D-printed objects.
Interacting with eight "Smart Objects" triggers specific on-screen content via RFID sensors.
The other eight "Virtual Objects" replicate on-screen with 3D virtual copies, demonstrating virtual interactivity used by modern retailers. The virtual replicas rotate with the live rotation of the object being handled by the guests.
MODERN RETAIL
This interactive shows all the tech innovations that Accenture offers their partners.
The biggest challenge with this space was the UX logic behind what plays on which screen and when, and the irregular scenarios when an object is put back before the content is over.
This experience showcases Accenture's innovative work in rich data solutions and advanced health technologies, driving cutting-edge transformations in biopharma and patient care.
I designed a vibrant lab-inspired space with a custom video LED art installation, featuring dynamic DNA spirals and molecule animations in double-sided LED "test tubes."
The LED wall was inspired on real lab test tubes, and like those, it brings to life the stunning science that Accenture is involved in.
SCIENCE OF LIFE
Animated videos on Accenture's New Science initiatives play across multiple screens, triggered by a docent. Guests interact with screens, and a custom app allows the docent to facilitate and take control when needed.
This interactive space was specifically for docents to give engaging and stunning presentations of the content.
The biggest challenge with this experience was striking the proper light balance and level of detail that would be visible in such a “low res screen”.
